The New Testament Survey I Class introduces the students to the books of the New Testament (Matthew through Philemon) in a broad expositional summary fashion. The course examines each book’s canonical place, genre, historical background, date, authorship, audience, significant themes, purpose, and literary structure. It takes a “birds-eye video walkthrough” and an “expository walk” (quick survey) through each book with an open Bible, enhancing comprehension and the contextual flow of the biblical text. The ultimate goal is to lead to the discovery of unique and priceless lessons from each book, fostering personal growth and sanctification.
